Off - Vacation & PTOPosition SummaryThe finance division of
accounting administration is involved with investments, wholes sale
funding, liquidity and the interest rate risk management of the
Bank. The Finance Analyst III position will be responsible for a
regular and ad-hoc fixed income portfolio analysis and all aspects
related to portfolio transaction logistics, such as trade entry,
trade settlement, collateral and margin management. The candidate
must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the banking industry, fixed
income securities, metrics, and risk measures, along with strong
quantitative and computational skills. Excellent communication and
analytical skills are very important. They will also be relied upon
to demonstrate initiative, work in a timely and efficient manner,
and comply with deadlines.Essential Job Functions Include but are
not limited to:
- Prepare a monthly investment portfolio analysis and any ad-hoc
requests from the executive management.
- Work with bank investments including accounting for, settlement
of, purchase documentation, and their safekeeping and pledging
- Use of wholesale funding alternatives including FHLB advances,
brokered CD's, fed funds and IntraFi Network funding.
- Deposit pricing of bank CDs and Non-Maturity products based on
competitive environment and bank liquidity needs.
- Interest Rate Risk modeling and forecasting as well as support
of the underlying assumptions including deposit study and loan
pricing
- Municipal Loan evaluation and bidding, including credit
analysis, credit write-ups, appropriate loan documentation and ROE
modeling
- Use of Derivatives for Commercial Loans as well as Balance
Sheet hedging

- Familiarity with the Core Processing System, and in particular,
the General Ledger application
- Familiarity with GAAP and banking industry accounting
practices
- Strong data analytic stills such as pivot tables, advance excel
formulas
- Familiarity with bank regulations related to financial filing
requirements
- Knowledge of asset liability management, interest rate swaps,
investments, capital markets and mergers & acquisition would be
preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Identify, research, recommend and implement new alternatives to
increase productivity
- High level of integrity, good work ethic, willingness to learn
and a positive attitude
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of best practices in internal controlsDigital

applicationsEducation and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years Accounting experience with focus in Banking and
fixed income securities preferred but not requiredPhysical
