Job Description:
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $500 million
Illinois community bank in their search for an Ag Lender to develop
business within the Champaign & Bloomington areas. The Agricultural
Loan officer works with local farmers and agricultural community
members to provide a complete range of banking services. The
selected candidate will have: Manage a portfolio of farm, farm real
estate, and related agricultural loans. Participate in the analysis
of loan requests. Provide an excellent customer experience, comply
with all relevant regulations, and adhere to established credit
standards. Meet or exceed loan/deposit growth goals by expanding
current relationships and developing new customer opportunities.
Work effectively with department staff and management. Properly
close and document all loan transactions in accordance with the
approved terms and conditions. Engage with the local community and
represent the bank at public events throughout Piatt County. The
qualified candidate will have: Four-year undergraduate degree in
Finance, Agricultural Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5
years of agricultural lending experience. Previous formal credit
training. Proven track record of developing new loan opportunities.
Strong analytical and credit skills. Excellent communicator
(written/verbal). Familiarity with a broad range of agricultural
lending programs.
