Hi there! So glad we caught your attention! Williams Dedicated is adding Diesel Mechanics to our talented Service team in Springfield, IL. Our Mechanics primarily focus on light repairs and preventative maintenance.

Shifts Available:

1st Shift - 8 - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
2nd Shift - 12 - 8:30 pm (+ shift differential) Monday - Friday

*Optional Saturdays available for overtime*



Pay Range (Depending on Experience):

Level 1 Tech: $52,188 - $60,000
Level 2 Tech: $60,000 - $71,370
Level 3 Tech: $71,370 - $82,000



Job Duties of a Diesel Mechanic:

Change oil, grease chassis, and perform inspections
Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance schedules and installing component and part upgrades
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and identifying worn and damaged parts
Correct vehicle problems and make minor repairs as necessary



Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License with acceptable safety record
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Knowledge of diesel maintenance
Proficiency in using hand tools (must have basic tools)
