unique manager role, you will lead a team that is responsible for
Rivian vehicles as they leave the plant ready for their adventures.
As vehicles roll off the assembly line, your team will shift the
gears across multiples scenarios, ensuring standards are in place
to detect, manage and fix any issues, diagnosing concerns, and
ensuring that anything you find is fully resolved to the highest
standards of quality and workmanship before the vehicle is shipped
to a customer. You'll also act a point of contact with Upstream
process to ensure root cause is addressed and avoid recurrence,
analyze complex data to suggest changes to products and processes
to help the team improve. You will act as a link with support areas
like TA, Finance, T, ME in order to develop and execute strategies
that assure flawless manage the change, Act as mentor and coach for
Salary and hourly crew to deploy lean manufacturing and data driven
strategies Responsibilities: Analyze complex data thru six sigma
analysis Deploy Lean Manufacturing strategies to avoid waste.
Design and deploy standards to exceed quality expectation and
delivery targets. Define, deploy and monitor KPI . Design, Plan,
Adjust Master schedules for complex projects (Equipment, process,
people) with demanding due dates Ambassador of Continuous
improvement with high skilled approach to detect and fix
non-Value-added activities. Well versed in Problem solving tools:
Drill down trees, 8Ds, PFMEA, Geometrical analysis, Pareto's,
Regression, Cause and effect diagrams, SPC. Make a critical impact
as you work with plant operations and manufacturing leaders and
team members to test, rectify, and ship Rivian's products. Plan and
adjust labor and overhead for future programs. Forecasting and
assurance of budget Train, Teach, Coach Salary and Hourly members
in Lean / People oriented initiatives. Negotiate; tools, manpower
and budget with Manufacturing and Finance Actively representative
in quality forums with top management. Work with Outbound logistics
and EOL operation to keep the Inventory on Yards withing control.
Rebalance and allocate Labor according to operations Demand.
Process auditing and confirmation for RIOS Standards. Enjoy a

Workstation Design (Layout, time studies, Error proofing) Enjoy

organization. High capacity to Deal with Ambiguity. Well versed in
communication and negotiation. Running production (Bottlenecks,
Constraint analysis, idle time). Design and deploy Quality control
and quality feedback initiatives. Qualifications: 7-10 years
working experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
(preferably Automotive). Bachelor's degree and Master preferably 5+
years Manufacturing Supervisory Experience Preferred (preferably
automotive). Must have a good understanding of manufacturing
procedures and practices. Experience with lean manufacturing.
Process and detail- oriented. Data and Customer Driven
Understanding of labor budgets, KPI's, and efficiency reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and
mentor. Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals. Experience developing departmental plans and priorities.
Ability to control resources and policy formation. Computer
literacy including MS Office Suite programs. Kaizen / continuous
improvement process experience. 6 Sigma greenbelt or blackbelt
desired. Good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated
project management skills. Specialized knowledge and strong
experience in manufacturing operations, Experience in a high-mix,
high-volume environment is highly preferred. Experience providing
leadership to managers, supervisors, and/or professional staff.
Knowledge of and experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous
