Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work full-time in our
employer-based clinic setting in Normal, IL. The work environment
is in a manufacturing plant focusing on Occupational health. The
hours for this position are 6:30AM-6:30PM, with an every other
Saturday commitment. Please note, this is not a new graduate
opportunity.The PA/NP will provide excellent acute episodic care
for the clinic, while also working collaboratively with other
medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor
associates, and key contacts within the clients corporate
structure. The day-to-day role of the PA/NP includes close
cooperation with the on-site medical staff operating in the clinic
and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this
client.The clinic provides a broad scope of services including the
diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and
illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and
preventative services. This position will work closely with a
Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site, as well
as Certified Medical Assistants, Nurses and EMTs. This position
requires no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advanced
notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred, as requested
by the client.A typical day in the life of a Medcor ProviderProvide

Medicine standardsBuild and maintain internal team
relationshipsCollaborate with client professionals in health,

resources and benefits professionals on clinical issuesSupport
clients wellness and preventative programsDocument and manage
information using state-of-the-art EMR and other toolsPatient
education regarding medical conditions and treatment optionsPatient
coaching regarding healthy behaviorsYou MustHave a valid
unrestricted IL licensureHave current DEA & BLS certificationsHave
strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR softwareHave a
positive and outgoing personality, and be a collaborative team
playerPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills
with patients, clients and colleaguesBe willing to go above and
beyond to give excellent customer serviceBe comfortable working in
