Registered Nurse (RN) | Acute Care Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Generis Tek Inc Pay: $33 to $49 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Generis Tek Inc to find a qualified Acute Care RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61610! Protects, promotes and restores heath and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. Provides effective leadership in the delivery of qualiy nursing care by assessing, planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions and collaborating with the patient to implement their plan of care. Maintains confidential status of medical records and maintains documentation standards with accurate, timely, and complete recording and reporting. Acts autonomously as a vital component of the care team while delegating appropriate responsibiliy to the skill level of the employee and identifies patient care needs to accomplish a high standard of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team functioning as an advocate for those we serve. Creates compassionate, service-oriented environment by following the nursing process in providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients and caregivers. Provides a learning atmosphere by sharing knowledge with coworkers/orientation of new staff and by educating patients and their families to meet their heath needs.
