Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year minimum License: Active IL license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - On-call requirement: 1 night a week primary and 1 night a week secondary - Weekend requirement: Will work every third weekend - First timers accepted Description: Position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. Shift is days from 06:30 to 17:00. Candidates with 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Certifications required include BLS and ACLS. The role includes a primary and secondary on-call shift each week. Candidates will float as needed to meet facility requirements. Flexibility for accommodating block schedules can be discussed with the manager. Candidates may work every third weekend. The facility is a Level II Trauma center with a total of 372 staffed beds. The daily patient census is approximately 20 patients with a ratio of 1:4. Successful candidates will be proficient in various interventional radiology procedures. Additional skills required include infection prevention and procedural sedation monitoring. Team support includes IV teams, radiology, and rapid response teams. Candidates must handle various clinical tasks, including central venous access and monitoring. Experience with the Cerner charting system is required. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
