This position is ideal for a skilled driver looking for stability and adherence to best practice safety standards. Our drivers are essential to maintaining the supply chain and you will be playing a critical role in the successful operations of our and our partners logistical needs. Safely operate a tractortrailer or smaller truck for local routes. Ensure timely delivery of cargo. Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines. Help with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Navigate routes using basic GPS tools while adhering to all safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and take direction regarding daily delivery tasks and schedules. Proficiency in driving and operating tractors and trailers. Ability to maintain electronic logs and records. Strong time management to meet delivery schedules. Basic maintenance knowledge of transport vehicles. Good physical condition and endurance.
