Description/Job SummaryA store clerk stores and retrieves materials to and from identified storage locations by performing the following duties.Responsibilities/DutiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned


  • Store material using storage tickets and storage locations that are numbered
  • Enter the ticket number and storage number into data base
  • Insure all material is properly stored
  • Organize storage location
  • Data records are kept up to date
  • Set up new location
  • Contact customers on disposition of material
  • Work with various customers to determine if material in storage longer that one year needs to be scrapped, removed, restored, or sent to off-site long term storage location\par

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.     DetailsThis is a 1st shift Full Time 35 to 40 hours per week. Monday thru Friday with some weekend work. 6 am to 2:30 pm, Position that pays $18 per hour. Previous crib experience is preferred but not required, looking for a self starter, hard worker that understands customer service and factory settings. Some computer skills needed and some lifting up to 30 lbs. required.
