Job Description:

The EEG Monitoring Tech monitors inpatient Video and EEG recording for an uninterrupted clean recording and responds to patients' events. They are effective communicators in a multidisciplinary work environment.

Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network issues with scope of training.
Ability to accurately document patient information in the EMR system.
Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary staff and "hand off" pertinent patient information.
Perform other duties as requested.
Computer/Epic proficiency
Solid interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently, organized, and self-motivated.
- Ability to recognize and detect changes in the recording of the Epilepsy patient
- Respond to patient events timely and accurately while maintaining patient safety according to policy and procedure of the EMU.
- Effective communicate events to the Epilepsy Team in a timely manner.
