Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional for a Dispatch Position in Normal, IL Pay Rate : $ 24.00 / Hour Opportunities to advance to Supervisor Role at an increased pay rate! Our goal is to provide you with the necessary skills you need in order to achieve a phenomenal career at Allied Universal. Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator. The Security Operations Center (SOC) is the centralized hub which manages the security and safety issues at our client's facility. We provide outstanding customer service to all calling parties while being firm following all processes in place to achieve excellent outcomes. The SOC is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The position monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems and is the liaison between multiple security departments. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Heavy Customer Service Background - we are looking for highly motivated people who are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to our client, our employees, and any guests and visitors. Someone who can speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to employees and security staff during emergencies Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems The ability to efficiently multitask Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones, 2- way radios, and intercoms. Accurately document routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities (accomplished via shift reports, pass-downs logs, incident reports, incident reports logs, or other established methods) Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21+ years of age Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable data entry experience Minimum of 1 year of work experience in public sector dispatch or emergency operations centers Bachelor's degree Previous Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military experience Knowledge and Skills Required: Advanced computer skills and proficiency; proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze high stress situations to determine the proper communication of events & to dispatch the proper teams to determine the best course of action to take.
