PLACEMENT: Clerical, Grade 5
MINIMIUM PAY RATE: $15.36 per hour

Entrepreneur & Business Center (EBC) is to support both start-ups
and existing small business success by providing no-cost mentoring,
training/education and advisory services to promote economic
development in Community College District 525.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Provide excellent customer service to
students, staff, faculty, and community members who visit the EBC
through greetings, answering questions, and taking messages.2.
Assist EBC staff with client meetings, seminars and roundtables by
taking notes, scheduling, assisting with follow, research and
presenting.3. Assist with hosting EBC sponsored events, in-person
and virtually. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, assisting
with event preparation, set-up, clean-up, decorating, food set-up
and serving, checking-in visitors, moving equipment and supplies,
setting up and running technology and other tasks as assigned.4.
Assist with EBC communications to clients, partners, and social
media.5. Attend and represent the EBC at community and networking
events to meet with potential and existing clients and partners.6.
Assist as needed with marketing for EBC events including flyers,
brochures, banners, bulletin boards, monthly calendars, and
free-standing signs. These efforts include, but are not limited to,
print media, digital media, handwritten signs, social media,
videos, personal outreach, and other creative marketing efforts.7.
Support EBC staff with office duties including department errands,
filing, making copies, maintaining resources, organizing, and other
related tasks.8. Assist clients improve their website and social
media including participate in marketing plans.9. Work occasional
evening and weekend events when requested. Hours and days will
vary.10. Perform related duties as assigned.MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Excellent
interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.3. Ability
to take personal initiative and work as a team player.4.
Personable, respectful, responsible, and creative.5. Familiar with
Microsoft Office applications.6. Comfortable creating content and
posting to Social Media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, and Snapchat.7. Professional email etiquette8. Ability to
receive constructive feedback with a positive attitude.9.
Experienced with marketing design.10. Ability to establish and
maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other
members of the college and community, displaying cultural
competence as well as emotional intelligence.11. Demonstrated
commitment to the college's core values of respect and inclusion,
sustainability, integrity, collaboration, humor and well-being,
innovation and quality.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1. Associate degree
preferred.2. Knowledge of college resources.3. Ability to write
legibly.4. Ability to work on-campus.5. English, Spanish and/or
other languages verbal and written communication proficiency.6.
Demonstrated multicultural competence.PHYSICAL DEMANDS1. Moving
throughout campus, walking and standing for periods of time.2.
Lifting and moving supplies up to 50 pounds.3. Climbing on ladders
